Next Years Festival Dates are as follows:
December 6, 2008 Northern Solo & Ensemble Festival
December 13, 2008 Southern Solo & Ensemble Festival
March 19-21, 2009 Concert Festival

Well, a couple of us director-types are sitting in the lovely teachers' lounge just a bit ticked-off about the fact that we are LOCKED OUT of the concert!
The New England Music Festival is an association of choral, band and orchestral music educators representing Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Vermont. Each year we sponsor a Solo & Ensemble Festival in December and a Concert Festival in March. It is our hope that this blog will become a forum for educators, guest conductors, and students to share ideas, impressions, and experiences gained through participation in this association.
